About the Author

Jazmine was born in Annapolis, MD. Her African American father and her Filipina mother influenced her upbringing. Specifically, her parents’ strong appreciation for art and culture inspired Jazmine’s love for fashion at a young age. She has worked in all types of retail, ranging from fast fashion to high-end boutique retailers with a background in wardrobe and personal styling. Additionally, Jazmine has worked in several local fashion shows and styled photo shoots to expand her knowledge and experience. In 2013, Fashion Awards MD nominated her for Emerging Fashion Stylist of the year. Jazmine has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management from Howard University. She is a resident of Annapolis, MD. In November 2013, Jazmine and her husband Adam welcomed their first daughter, Adele. St. John’s vs. Navy Croquet Match Draws Fashions from the Roaring Twenties

Once a year, St. John’s College plays host to the biggest croquet match around: The Annapolis Cup. Now in its 34th year, the rivalry pits the croquet team from St. John’s College against that of the United States Naval Academy. This lavish lawn event brings to St. John’s College huge crowds ready to clink glasses on their picnic blankets and swing dance to a live brass band. This year’s Annapolis Cup, to be held on Saturday April 16, promises to live up to the tradition’s fun, festive atmosphere. Even if you know nothing about croquet, you won’t want to miss the high fashion on full display at this fabulous spring lawn party.
