Ballet Theatre of Maryland’s 2016-17 Schedule

As one of the area’s leading performance arts groups, The Ballet Theatre of Maryland (BTM) conducts full-length professional ballet performances of both classical and contemporary works at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis, the Bowie Performing Arts Center, the Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric in Baltimore, and other presenting theaters throughout Maryland.

Ballet Theatre of Maryland provides Maryland with rich traditional and innovative programs that entertain, inspire and enlighten through a language more powerful than words – the language of classical and contemporary American dance.

Ballet Theatre of Maryland has released its schedule for the 2016-17 season, with performances of “The Nutcracker” and “The Little Mermaid” included on the agenda.

The curtain at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis is set to open for the ballet for the first time this season in late October with “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.”

Performances of the classic ghost story are scheduled for Oct. 21, 22 and 23.
